Sunday roast with Adam Fiegert, Gibson Wines at Bar Liberty, Sun 22nd July

As the youngest of five siblings with parents who both made wine at Penfolds in the Barossa Valley, vines and wine have never been far from daily life for our third winemaker in The Wine Loop, Adam.

Having hit the international road after working his first vintage in the Hunter Valley, Adam worked in California, Spain and Portugal and before returning to his native South Australia. He now makes wine alongside Rob Gibson as they continue to deliver their "unique, scarce and fiercely local" Barossa wines.

As well as being "the storyteller of all things Gibson Wines," Adam is playing a key role in Gibson's Discovery Road label, focused on an experimental approach to Southern Mediterranean varieties. Expect insights, chat and a few thoughts on Barossa's footy scene!

With flavour and acidity at the heart, Casey Wall, Head Chef of Fitzroy's Bar Liberty, enjoys creating menus that span different generations of foodies, balancing understated with technical stretch.

Hailing from North Carolina, Casey believes in "approachable but different". With a career spanning New York City's Spotted Pig and Le Cirque, as well as Melbourne's Cutler & Co, Casey's menus are now gracing the tables at bar and bistro Bar Liberty as well as burger- focussed Rockwell & Sons.

With just 12 seats at the Bar Liberty table, join Adam and Casey for a relaxed winter’s Sunday afternoon! Click here to book!
