The Macedon Ranges just held their annual wine show recently – what were the key take-aways from what was on show?
Regional wine shows are a great opportunity to see the strengths of a region on display. In the Macedon Ranges the standouts are always the Sparkling category and Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This year the Chardonnays shone particularly brightly.

There is always a great atmosphere with live music and food and wine flowing freely. We have a local artist Sarah Wilkinson playing some tunes and our friend Etienne (a local French winemaker) will be cooking up a storm on his woodfired pizza oven – some of the tastiest pizza around.
